The name AKUN comes from the Arabic word “Kun” which means “Be”a powerful word representing the creative command of Allah that brought the universe into existence. The letter “A” symbolizes Allah the ultimate source of all creation. In Urdu AKUN reflects both creation and creativity which form the foundation of our brand. AKUN was established in 2021 in a small home office by a woman with just a laptop and a dream. Her goal was to build a digital services platform that wasn’t just about business but about meaningful purpose driven work inspired by divine creativity. The Quranic phrase “Kun Fayakun”   Be and it is at the heart of our brand. It taught us that creation is not just a process but a spiritual journey rooted in divine purpose.
